THE MUSIC OF AL SNAKEY
Al Snakey's music brings together hard rock, punk and metal influences with a direct, uncompromising approach to songwriting.
Across three solo albums, the sound has continued to evolve while keeping the same essential ingredient: rock'n'roll with attitude.

SHOW NO MERCY | THE BEGINNING OF THE SOLO JOURNEY
Released in 2015, Show No Mercy marked the start of Al Snakey's solo recording career.
After years of writing, performing and refining his sound with Wikked Bliss, Al stepped forward on his own terms, drawing on the influences that had shaped him as an artist.
The result is a record built around guitars, attitude, melody and a straightforward approach to rock'n'roll.
Show No Mercy laid the foundation for what would become Al Snakey's solo catalogue, introducing the sound and songwriting style that would continue to evolve across his later releases.
From the opening title track through songs such as Boardroom, Set The Night On Fire, Face Of An Angel and A Thousand Dreams, the album moves between hard-driving rockers and more melodic moments while keeping its focus firmly on the song.
This was the first chapter. And there was plenty more to come.

OUT FOR BLOOD | NO TIME TO WASTE
Released in 2018, Out For Blood marked the next stage in Al Snakey's evolution as a solo artist.
The second album expanded on the foundations laid by Show No Mercy, bringing together twelve tracks that range from hard rock and metal to punk-influenced attitude and more melodic territory.
Songs such as Born To Feed The Fire, Down To Hell, Nasty, Black'n'Blue, Long Live Rock'n'Roll and No Time To Waste capture the energy at the heart of the record, while tracks such as My Life With You and I Don’t Wanna Live reveal another side of the songwriting.
The album was mixed by Grammy award-winning engineer and producer Sylvia Massy, adding another significant chapter to the record's production story.
Out For Blood wasn't about standing still. It was the sound of an artist continuing to push forward, with more songs, more attitude and no intention of taking his foot off the pedal.

CHAOS TO DESTINY | THE STORY CONTINUES
Released on April 8, 2022, Chaos to Destiny is Al Snakey's third studio album and the latest chapter in his solo recording journey.
The album brings together Al's songwriting, vocals, guitars and bass, with contributions from musicians who bring their own experience and character to the record.
Melbourne veteran Venom takes on drums, while W.A.S.P. and signal2noise guitarist Doug Blair contributes lead guitar.
The album's singles, Demon Eyes and Down In A Hole, introduced the record ahead of its release, giving listeners a first taste of what was to come.
Across the album, Al Snakey continues to draw on the rock, punk and metal influences that have been part of his musical identity from the beginning.
But Chaos to Destiny isn't simply a continuation of the previous records. It's another snapshot of where the music had taken Al Snakey at that point in the journey; heavier in places, melodic in others, and always driven by the guitar.
Three albums in, the story continues. And as the title suggests, sometimes you don't know where the road is going until you take it.
